This glass walkway in Batangas might just awaken the daredevil in you

A glass walkway is slated to open in Batangas City this year and it's poised to be a destination that will attract adventure junkies and daredevils.

According to Denise Abante of GMA Regional TV Balitang Southern Tagalog on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the glass walkway in Barangay Pagkilatan has a height of 45 meters and a length of 118 meters.

The glass used in the walkway is also three inches thick, with imported metal and reinforcements for the rest of the structure.

Construction began in 2023 for the locals and tourists in the city. Jojo Pastor, administrative officer of Montemaria Shrine, shared that the glass walkway is just a part of a larger theme park.

The attraction has yet to open to the public because necessary documents are still being processed in the local government unit.

The glass walkway is slated to open before Christmas this year, with an estimated entrance fee of P250 to P350.
