Radson Flores posts head-canon scenes of Mark Gordon in 'Voltes V: Legacy'
Radson Flores just gave fans of "Voltes V: Legacy" a short clip showing his own take on Mark Gordon's life inside Camp Big Falcon.
On Instagram, Wednesday, the Sparkle actor said he shot the scenes back in 2022 when they were still taping the series. He called it his "head-canon."
In the video, Mark wore a simple shirt, pants, and boots and walked around the camp alone. At one point, he made a call through a pay phone.
"The pressure and fear weighing upon his shoulders being forcefully chosen as part of the last line of defense of planet Earth against the Bozanians is absolutely depressing and terrifying," Radson said about Mark.
"On top of that, he had no one to relate to, no one to converse with, and no one to lean on," he added.
In the series, Mark is revealed to be an orphan.
"He could have just ran away back to his hometown and lived his last few days with his beloved horse Alpha, but he still chose not to for he swore that his duty as a soldier should be above everything he values in life," Radson said.
The video caught the attention of "Voltes V: Legacy" director Mark Reyes.
"I'm impressed you actually had time and took the effort to do this," he said in the comments section.
"Voltes V: Legacy," which also stars Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho, is currently enjoying a rerun on GMA Afternoon Prime at 4:30 p.m. weekdays after "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."
"Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience" is also heading to Japan in October, while preparations are also underway to bring the 90-episode series on Japanese television.
