Jungkook of BTS to release new single ‘Never Let Go’
BTS’s Jungkook is back with some new music!
On WeVerse, BIGHIT Music announced that the K-pop star will be releasing a new single titled “Never Let Go.”
“‘Never Let Go’ is a heartfelt tribute to Jung Kook’s fans encapsulating the message ‘to never let go of each other’s hands’ as a token of gratitude for the boundless love from ARMY all over the world,” BIGHIT said.
The heartwarming song is set to be released on Friday, June 7, at 1 p.m. (KST).
Jungkook has been serving in the South Korean military since Dec. 12, 2023. He enlisted under the “Companion Soldiers” system along with fellow member Jimin, which means they will be going to the same training center and living units.
Before his enlistment, the 26-year-old idol released his album “GOLDEN” in November of last year. The 11-track album has the previously released hits “3D (feat. Jack Harlow),” as well as the clean and explicit versions of “Seven (feat. Latto).”
BTS has been on hiatus since 2023, as members undergo their mandatory military service. Jin will be the first member to be discharged from the military on June 12. They are set to reconvene as a group in 2025.
