Jin of BTS will give out hugs at group's anniversary event

Hugs from our worldwide handsome Jin, anyone?

ARMYs, it's your chance to get a hug from BTS member Jin himself in this upcoming event that celebrates their band's debut anniversary!

On WeVerse, BigHit Entertainment announced that Jin will be holding an in-person event for this year's BTS FESTA, the annual celebration of his band's debut anniversary.

According to the post, Jin will be celebrating BTS's 11th anniversary through a fan meet at the Jamsil Arena in Seoul on June 13, a day after completing his mandatory military service.

The fan meet will be divided into two sessions: "Jin's Greetings," and "Message from Jin."

The first session called "Jin's Greetings" is where fans who won the raffle will have the chance to receive either a "light hug" or handshake from Jin, depending on their preference.

For the second session, the K-pop star will stage a showcase of performances that can be livestreamed on WeVerse by ARMY membership holders.

"Festa," which falls on June 13 every year, is known to be a festival lasting anywhere between one to two weeks, filled with events dedicated to the loyal fans, the ARMYs. For this year's Festa, the celebration will begin on June 2 and will conclude on June 13.

Jin will be discharged from the military on June 12 after enlisting in December 2022. He will be the first BTS member to complete his military service.

BTS has been on hiatus since 2023, as members undergo their mandatory military service. They are set to reconvene as a group in 2025.
