Heart Evangelista holds first meeting with Senate Spouses Foundation
The members of the Senate Spouses Foundation just had their first meeting with Heart Evangelista.
On Instagram, the proud wife of Senate President Chiz Escudero shared a video recap of their gathering. She now sits as the foundation's new president.
“Our very first meeting and as they say, coming together is just the beginning,” Heart said.
“Excited to get down to work! Thank you for the warm welcome fellow Senate spouses. Ready to honor the challenge of working together and find ways to make our communities better and stronger,” she said.
Heart also tagged Mariel Padilla, Kathryna Pimentel, and Maricel Tulfo-Tungol.
Earlier this week, Heart shared the foundation’s Instagram on her page.
The Senate Spouses Foundation, an organization of Philippine senators' wives, was previously led by Audrey Tan Zubiri, the wife of Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri.
Last week, Escudero was officially elected as the new Senate president, replacing Zubiri after the latter resigned from the post. The proud Heart stood beside her husband as he took his oath.
