IU is finally back in the country to hold her “H.E.R.E.H.” show at the Philippine Arena on Saturday.
Before the South Korean idol’s much-awaited concert, here are five songs to include in your playlist to help you prepare for the show.
1. 'Love Wins All'
“Love Wins All” is among IU’s recent works, which came with a music video starring BTS member V.
IU teased the comeback single with a clip of herself holding a video camera and V with wounds on his face.
2. 'BBIBBI'
Released in 2018, “BBIBBI” celebrated IU’s 10th anniversary since her debut.
The single is a fun, groovy track that sends a message to haters who constantly cross the line when it comes to public personalities’ personal lives.
3. 'Celebrity'
“Celebrity” was released in 2021 as part of IU’s fifth album.
According to the translated lyrics on Genius, IU sings, “don’t forget among the cloudy dark/you’re a star painted with a left hand,” telling the listener, “you are my celebrity.”
4. 'Eight'
IU collaborated with Suga of BTS for the music video of “Eight.”
Released in 2020, the song is about one’s precious memories, including sorrow and longing.
5. 'You & I'
IU’s 2011 song “You & I” is a fairytale-like piece.
The artist said that it tells a story for her future boyfriend.
IU first announced that she will be going on tour in January. She kicked off the tour in Seoul, South Korea.
Aside from her songs, IU is also an actress and is set to star in the upcoming drama “Thank You for Your Hard Work” alongside Park Bo Gum.
She also starred in “Hotel del Luna” and “Scarlet Heart Ryeo.”
