Thunder, Sandara Park's younger brother, weds ex-girl group member Mimi

South Korean idol Thunder, the younger brother of K-pop star Sandara Park, has now tied the knot with Mimi, a former member of girl group Gugudan.

On Instagram, Sandara shared some snaps from Thunder and Mimi’s lovely wedding that took place on Sunday, May 26.

“Thunder and Mimi got married!! Congratulations so much, my younger brothers. Let’s be the happiest in this world!!! Thank you so much to everyone who came to congratulate us! I'm really, really happy,” the former 2NE1 member wrote in the caption.

As seen in the photos, the wedding was attended by their family and friends, including Thunder’s friend and former MBLAQ member Lee Joon, and 2NE1 ex-member Minzy.

Thunder, real name Park Cheondung, and Mimi, revealed their relationship in July last year when they were guests on the TV show “Second House 2,” hosted by husband and wife Choi Soo Jong and Ha Hee Ra.

The couple visited the Philippines earlier in May together with Dara, Minzy, and Lee Joon for an episode of “It’s More Fun with Dara Tour.”

Thunder debuted with MBLAQ in 2009. In 2014, the K-pop singer left the group together with their leader Lee Joon. Shortly after, the group went on hiatus.

Meanwhile, Mimi debuted with Gugudan in 2016. The girl group's disbandment was officially announced in December 2020.
