Christi McGarry on Miss Universe Philippines 2024 journey: 'I wouldn't have traded it for the world'

Christi McGarry is nothing but grateful for having the experience to compete at Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

On Instagram, Sunday, the beauty queen from Taguig concluded her journey at the national pageant with some photo highlights from the coronation night, as well as a lengthy word of thanks to the people who helped her in the pageant.

"I poured out and left my entire heart on that stage," Christi said.

"What a wild and incredible yet humbling ride and experience," she added. "Immeasurable sacrifices and countless hours of training and sleepless nights."

During the coronation night last Wednesday, Christi said she gave her "absolute all" and that she will never forget the people who cheered for Taguig.

Christi also congratulated Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan, the newly-crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2024

"Your destiny awaits, and I am so happy and excited for you and this next legendary chapter in your journey," she said.

"You are a bright light in the universe, love you, and will always be here to support you, and no doubt you'll make us proud, our glorious morena queen," she added.

She also acknowledged her fellow candidates for this batch, whom she described as "sisters who've made this journey remarkable."

"It's you incredible women who've inspired me and have showcased courage, bravery, charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent," she said.

"It's been an amazing privilege and honor to be a part of this legendary batch and to compete alongside all of you deserving women, and also can't wait to see what's in store for you all next!" she added.

Christi ended her heartwarming post by expressing how grateful she is.

"May I just say I am incredibly grateful, and humbled by the support and the entire experience, and [I] wouldn't have traded it for the world," she said.

Christi ended her Miss Universe Philippines 2024 journey with a 4th runner-up finish.

Chelsea is set to represent the Philippines in this year's Miss Universe pageant in Mexico in September, where reigning queen Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua will crown her successor.
