Chelsea Manalo’s official Miss Universe Philippines portraits are finally here!
The Bulakenya queen posted the photos on her Instagram page on Saturday.
Chelsea looked regal in a white serpentine archival dress by designer Jot Losa and the coveted Miss Universe Philippines crown.
In her first media conference on Friday, she said that it still feels surreal to have won the national title and that she’s grateful for the love and support she’s been receiving.
When asked why she should be the next Miss Universe, Chelsea said, “I am more than a reflection of a woman who is very humble and [has] humble beginnings.”
Chelsea was crowned the new Miss Universe Philippines during the coronation night held on Wednesday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Stacey Gabriel of Cainta was named the first runner-up, and Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province was named the second runner-up.
Tarah Valencia of Baguio is the third runner-up, while Christi McGarry of Taguig is the fourth runner-up. —Carby Basina/VBL, GMA Integrated News
