Heart Evangelista a proud wife as husband Chiz Escudero takes oath as Senate president
Heart Evangelista can’t help but be a proud wife after her husband Chiz Escudero was officially elected as the new Senate president on Monday.
On her Instagram Stories, the Kapuso Global Fashion Icon reposted a clip taken from Chiz’s oath-taking ceremony administered by Senator Mark Villar. In the video, Heart can be seen standing beside her husband as he took his oath.
Heart donned a brown coat and trousers paired with a brown clutch and gold dangling earrings for the occasion.
Escudero replaced Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri as Senate president after the latter resigned from the post on Monday.
Heart revealed on Mother’s Day that she recently got pregnant with a baby boy but suffered another miscarriage.
In March, the 39 year-old actress shared that she and Chiz were expecting a baby girl some time in February but "she didn't make it."
After marrying Chiz in 2015, Heart got pregnant with twins in 2018. She lost them both to a miscarriage.
In February, Heart and Chiz renewed their vows in Balesin.
