Nick Carter cancels Cebu and Manila concerts
Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter has canceled his upcoming concerts in Cebu and Manila.
Concert promoter Wilbros Live announced on social media that “due to unforeseen circumstances,” Carter's concert in Cebu on May 23 and in Manila on May 24 “will no longer proceed as scheduled.”
They also said that the American singer hopes to reschedule the shows “in the near future.”
For refund requests, Cebu customers who purchased tickets through SM Tickets would have to email the ticket seller or visit smtickets.com/refund.
Meanwhile, Manila fans who purchased tickets via TicketNet will automatically get their refund within 30 business days. Those who bought their tickets from TicketNet outlets, however, would need to present their physical ticket and valid ID to TicketNet in Araneta Coliseum from May 24 to June 30 only.
Nick's Cebu and Manila shows were supposed to be a part of the Asian leg of his "Who I Am" 2024 tour.
Carter previously canceled his shows in Asia, including Jakarta, Mumbai, Bangalore, Singapore, Japan, and Taipei.
Nick is the vocalist of the iconic band Backstreet Boys that was formed in 1993. The group was behind the hit songs “I Want It That Way,” "Everybody," “Quit Playing Games," and more.
Nick is also the older brother of the late singer Aaron Carter who passed away in November 2022.
