‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ sequel: Alden Richards, Kathryn Bernardo to reprise roles as Ethan, Joy
It’s official! The sequel to the 2019 box office hit “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” top-billed by GMA’s Alden Richards and ABS-CBN’s Kathryn Bernardo, is set to be released soon.
The upcoming sequel, dubbed “Hello, Love, Again,” was first reported by Deadline.
The second installment will follow the continuation of the story of Ethan (Alden) and Joy (Kath), two struggling OFWs who met in Hong Kong and fell in love at the wrong time. Five years later, they will meet again in Canada.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the sequel is slated to be released in the Philippines on November 13.
Last week, GMA Pictures and Star Magic released teasers of the upcoming film collaboration. On Social media, eagle-eyed netizens were quick to guess that the movie is a sequel to “Hello, Love, Goodbye.”
“Hello, Love, Goodbye” is the second highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, next to “Rewind,” starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes.
