KC Concepcion recalls memorable gifts from Sharon Cuneta on Mother’s Day

KC Concepcion is deeply grateful for the material things Sharon Cuneta has gifted her over the years.

On Mother’s Day, KC dedicated a YouTube vlog for some of the memorable items she received from the Mega Star, including fine jewelry pieces.

According to KC, it’s a tradition in their family for the elders to pass on timeless jewelry pieces to the young ones. It’s also what pushed KC to study jewelry courses and launch her own brand, Avec Moi.

KC also shared other gifts from her mom, including a limited-edition Louis Vuitton bag, a vintage Louis Vuitton trunk from Paris, coffee table books, and earthenware from Japan.

“Whenever I see Louis Vuitton or luxury bags, I remember my mom, kasi talagang ‘yung collection niya ng bags, todo todo talaga,” KC said.

The “Asian Persuasion” actress ended her vlog by sending love to her mom.

“Life is short. Let's just love each other, and forgive each other and be happy,” she said.

“I love you mom, and I will always cherish these gifts that you’ve given me,” she added.

Earlier, KC also shared a heartfelt Mother’s Day post for Sharon on Instagram.

"Trust in the way you raised me—I will always strive to make you proud and feel that having me was worth it," she said.

KC is Sharon's daughter with former husband Gabby Concepcion. The ex-couple reunited last year for a concert titled "Dear Heart," where KC appeared as a special guest.

Sharon and Gabby got married in 1984 and separated three years later, with their marriage getting annulled in 1993.
