Dingdong Dantes shares values he learned as military reservist
Coming from a family of military men, Dingdong Dantes became even more inspired to serve the country as a military reservist.
In an interview with Nelson Canlas on "24 Oras," Thursday, the Kapuso Primetime King said that he has learned many values as a reservist, which he also applies in his personal life.
"Para sa akin ang laki ng naitutulong sa akin nung values and principles na 'yun that were reinforced when I joined also the reserve force," he said.
Dingdong agreed that the value of loyalty is also seen with how he remains a Kapuso throughout the years.
"'Di ba 'yung value ng loyalty?" he said.
Above all the things that he does, Dingdong said that the most important thing for him is his family.
The actor said that he makes sure that he has enough quality time for his family.
"Then kung ano man ang pwede ko ring ibigay sa aking profession, ibibigay ko. Kung meron pa akong oras at may ibibigay for public service, which is what I do with the navy, gagawin ko," Dingdong said.
Dingdong renewed his ties with GMA Network on Thursday and couldn't help but tear up from the congratulatory messages he received from GMA executives.
"Sa aking mga boss, maraming-maraming salamat [to my bosses, thank you so much]," said Dingdong. "Thank you po for those kind words, I truly appreciate them."
He recently starred in the blockbuster hit "Rewind" opposite his wife, Marian Rivera, which is now streaming on Netflix.
The couple is set to receive the Bida sa Takilya Award at the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards 2024 for their film.
Dingdong is also the host of GMA-7's "Family Feud" and "Amazing Earth."
