Kim Chiu shares snaps from her surprise birthday party in Siargao

Kim Chiu had a blast on her 34th birthday celebration!

On Instagram, the Chinita Princess shared some snaps from her surprise birthday party in Siargao prepared by her sister Kam and Bela Padilla.

"I spent my birthday a little differently this year, with zero plan about anything at all," Kim began in the caption.

According to her, she went to Siargao to attend Angelica Panganiban and Gregg Homan's wedding. Little did she know that Kam and Bela Padilla, together with Angelica, Direk Andoy Ranay, Cherry Pie Picache and Anne Curtis, were planning to throw a surprise party for her at midnight of her birthday.

Aside from the surprise birthday party, Kim also said that Direk Andoy organized an island hopping and gave a surprise birthday cake for all April Celebrants during Angelica and Gregg's welcome dinner.

"Thank you everyone! Thank you, momsy Angge! Salamat ng Sobra sobra sa lahat! Unplanned birthday celebrations are always the best! Everything and Anything under the Sun and Moon! Cheers to life!" she said.

For her birthday this year, Kim surprised her fans with a concept video of her showcasing an edgy look complete with a pixie hairstyle.

"A year older. Braver. Stronger. Smarter. Wiser," she wrote in the caption.

Kim is among the hosts of "It's Showtime," which made its GMA Network debut this month.

In December last year, Kim and her former boyfriend, Xian Lim, confirmed their split. They did not reveal the reason for ending their 12-year relationship.
