Eraserheads' 'Cutterpillow' album is now available on vinyl
Eraserheads' critically acclaimed album "Cutterpillow" has now a vinyl version.
On social media, former Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia's music label, Offshore Music, announced that the Cutterpillow 2LP Vinyl is now available for pre-orders worldwide.
Aside from that, the vinyl comes with official Eraserheads merchandise such as shirt, hoodie, tote bag, cap and stickers. It also contains two vinyl records inside—a blue and an orange, dividing the 14 tracks from the album in each record.
According to the post, the vinyl is priced at P2,582 excluding shipping fee.
Since it is a pre-order, Offshore said that the records will be shipped by the end of June or in early July.
Released in 1995, "Cutterpillow" contained some of Eraserheads' iconic tracks such as "Ang Huling El Bimbo," and "Overdrive."
Ely, together with former Eraserheads bandmates Raimund Marasigan, Marcus Adoro and Buddy Zabala, performed together on stage once again in their "Ang Huling El Bimbo" reunion concert in December 2022.
Last year, Ely revealed in a magazine feature that an Eraserheads documentary is in the works.
Eraserheads was formed in the late '80s at the University of the Philippines Diliman. They would end up debuting with a smash hit album called "Ultraelectromagneticpop!" followed by bigger releases in "Circus" and "Cutterpillow."
