'Firefly' is coming to Prime Video PH this April

You can now watch "Firefly" on Prime Video PH this April!

On social media, the streaming service announced that the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 Best Picture will be available in their platform starting April 30.

"There are stories that will live in our hearts forever. #Firefly, starring #AlessandraDeRossi and #EuwennMikaell, is coming this April 30 on Prime Video," Prime Video said in a Facebook post.

"Firefly" tells the story of Tonton (Euwenn Mikaell) and his journey as he finds the mythical island of fireflies based on his mother, Elay's (Alessandra De Rossi), bedtime stories

It reaped several accolades in the MMFF 2023 Gabi ng Parangal, including Best Picture, Best Screenplay, and Best Child Performer.

The film directed by Zig Dulay was also screened in several United States cinemas last month.

It was shown at the inaugural Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) in California in February, where it took home several awards including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actress for Alessandra.
