Ruru Madrid has been named as GMA Network’s anti-piracy ambassador!

According to “24 Oras,” Thursday, an oath-taking ceremony was held for the Kapuso Action Drama Prince’s new role to fulfill.

The event was spearheaded by GMA Network Inc. Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdez and was graced by Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) Deputy Director Ann Claire Cabochan.

“It’s an honor na ako po ang napili to be part of this new campaign ng GMA, which is the anti-piracy campaign. Malaking bagay din po para sa’kin ‘yun na magbigay po ng tiwala po sa akin ang network na mapabilang po sa gan’tong klaseng campaign,” Ruru said.

Ruru reminded everyone to watch programs, such as his show, “Black Rider,” through legal platforms in relation to the campaign’s slogan, “Stream responsibly, fight piracy.”

The Sparkle star teased that more action scenes await viewers in the series’ upcoming episodes.

“Asahan niyo na mas magiging maaksyon itong mga susunod na episodes namin,” he said.

Ruru stars in “Black Rider” with Yassi Pressman, Kylie Padilla, Matteo Guidicelli, Jon Lucas, Rainier Castillo, Katrina Halili, Zoren Legaspi, Gladys Reyes, Empoy, Jayson Gainza, Janus del Prado, and many more.

Ruru previously said that playing the title character in the project is making his action dreams come true.

He underwent training in mixed martial arts and motorcycle riding to prepare for the role.
