Regine Velasquez performs 'Written in the Sand' after 23 years

Regine Velasquez once again performed "Written in the Sand" after 23 years!

During Makati City's New Year Countdown at Ayala Avenue on Sunday, the Asia's Songbird sang the Philippines' iconic entry in the BBC 2000 millennium broadcast.

Regine belted the nostalgic song and followed it up with "Go The Distance" from 1997 Disney film "Hercules."

Aside from Regine, SB19 lit up the event with their songs "Gento," "I Want You," "Liham," "Freedom," and "Crimzone."

Other acts who performed for the thousands of attendees include Spongecola, Al James, and Barefoot Theatre Collective.
