Jessica Soho hails 'Firefly' as powerful story about chasing dreams

Jessica Soho was among those who attended the premiere night of "Firefly," and she had nothing but good words about the film.

On Instagram, GMA Public Affairs posted a reaction video of the veteran journalist right after the advanced screening.

"Naiyak ako," she said. "Ang simple ng storya pero napaka-powerful... Ang lesson din is to never let go of your dreams. Hindi dapat manatili sa dilim ang mga bagay bagay."

"Sana panoorin niyo po at maniwala sa kapangyarhihan ng isang pangarap," she added.

" Firefly " will premiere in Philippine cinemas on Christmas Day. The film has already been receiving positive reviews following its advanced screening .

Directed by Zig Dulay and produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs, " Firefly " is a coming-of-age road trip drama about TonTon (Euwenn Mikaell Aleta) who searches for the mythical island described in his mother's bedtime stories.
