Vicki Belo reacts to her '90s photo that resurfaced online
Vicki Belo was such a sport in reacting to a photo of herself from the '90s that has recently resurfaced on social media.
On Instagram, the celebrity doctor shared a reaction video to her photo shared by Instagram user The '90s Kabaklaan. She was just 33 back then.
The photo was from the September 1990 issue of society magazine METRO.
"I really don't want to do this, but my social media manager is insisting that I do it," Belo said in the video.
"I've spent 30 years trying to get rid of these pictures, but @90skabaklaan found it," she added. "I don't know how you guys did it, so pardon me na lang po."
Belo also said that she grew up being conscious about her physical appearance, which motivated her to become a dermatologist.
"Grabe The '90s Kabaklaan saan n'yo 'to nahukay?" she wrote in the caption with laughing face emoji.
"I grew up really conscious about a lot of things about myself, which led me to become a #dermatologist and putting up my own clinic—Belo Beauty is my brainchild to help those who felt like I did feel their best in their own skin," she added.
Belo previously said cosmetic surgery should not be seen as taboo but rather a celebration of women's empowerment.
Now at 66, Belo has become one of the most popular celebrity doctors today. Aside from taking care of her showbiz clients, she has been giving out skincare advice to her followers online.
She is married to Hayden Kho and they have a daughter named Scarlet Snow.
