'Young Sheldon' Iain Armitage visits his 'Meemaw' Annie Potts at home
We love seeing “Young Sheldon” cast members together in real life!
On Instagram, Annie Potts, the actress who portrays Meemaw, the lovable grandmother of the Cooper siblings in “Young Sheldon,” shared a photo of a home visit from Iain Armitage.
“Look who surprised me with a visit last night,” the veteran actress wrote in the caption.
“Couldn’t love this young man more. [Iain], you’ll always be my Moonpie,” she added.
In a separate post, the “Young Sheldon” main star posted the same photo and said it’s been his joy being Moonpie to Annie’s Meemaw in the show.
“I was delighted to discover that we were neighbors who both lived near the studio,” Iain said.
“It felt like having a relative who lived right down the street,” he added.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the upcoming Season 7 of “Young Sheldon” will be its last.
“Young Sheldon” is the successful spin-off series of the equally successful “Big Bang Theory,” which concluded in 2019.
