Michelle Dee lauded by PH beauty queens after Top 10 finish in Miss Universe 2023

Michelle Dee fell short of bringing home the Miss Universe 2023 crown, but her fellow beauty queens showed that they got her back.
In the comment section of her recent Instagram post, fellow Filipina beauty queens expressed how proud they are of Michelle.
"You are such a force! From your thoughts and ideas to your willpower and dedication for the Philippines," Miss Supranational first runner-up Pauline Amelinckx wrote.
Meanwhile, Miss International 2017 Kylie Verzosa said: "You did so well!"
"Ikaw ang Miss Universe namin! We love you!!" her cousin and Miss Reina Hispanoamerica 2017 winner Winwyn Marquez wrote.
In a separate Instagram post, Winwyn shared a lengthy post for Michelle, expressing how proud and grateful she is to her cousin.
"Brava! You did everything right. So proud of you Boo. Absolutely stunning!" Miss Grand Philippines 2021 Samantha Panlilio commented.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray took to Instagram stories to show her support for Michelle Dee.
"An iconic moment on the MU stage for me. Thank you for carrying the Philippines with you @michelledee we're so proud of you," Catriona wrote as she shared the behind-the-scenes clip of Michelle's final evening gown that was a tribute to Filipino traditional tattoo artist Apo Wang-Od.
Miss Grand International 2020 first runner-up Samantha Bernardo shared on her Instagram story: "Iconic. We are so proud of you @michelledee."
Meanwhile on her Instagram broadcast channel, Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach expressed how emotional she is with the result of the pageant.
Miss Universe Philippines Organization National Director and Miss Universe 2011 third-runner up Shamcey Supsup expressed how thankful and proud she is of Michelle in a lengthy Instagram post.
"We eagerly await your return, our Queen. You've made us all so proud."
On X (formerly Twitter), Miss Universe Philippines 2023 2nd runner-up Angelique Manto wrote: "Michelle Marquez Dee will go down in history as one of the most creative, fiercest and best reps our country has ever had. You are our winner through and through."

Michelle concluded her Miss Universe 2023 journey in the Top 10.
Despite not winning the country's fifth crown, the Sparkle beauty queen gave a fierce performance earning two special awards for the night.
Michelle was among the three gold medalists of the Miss Universe 2023 Voice for Change video competition for her autism awareness advocacy. She also took home the Spirit of Carnival Award.
The 73rd Miss Universe pageant was held at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador. Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua was crowned as the Miss Universe 2023 by reigning queen R'Bonney Gabriel.
