Michelle Dee on Miss Universe 2023 journey: 'Love and kindness over everything!'

Michelle Dee may not have won the crown, but she has definitely won the hearts of every Filipino.

After failing to secure a spot after the Top 10, Michelle is still grateful to have represented the Philippines on the 73rd edition of Miss Universe.

On the Philippine bet's broadcast channel on Instagram, Michelle thanked her Filipino supporters for being with her on her Miss Universe journey.

"Love and kindness over everything!" Michelle said. "Mahal ko kayo."

"Thank you so much for raising our flag with me," she added.

Michelle ended her Miss Universe 2023 journey in the Top 10.

Despite not winning the Philippines' fifth crown, the Sparkle beauty queen performed fiercely in the Miss Universe 2023. She wore an Apo Whang Od-inspired evening gown and sizzled in her Rubin Singer metallic red one-piece swimsuit.

She was also among the three gold medalists for the pageant's "Voice for Change" video competition.

The 73rd Miss Universe pageant is being held at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador. The winner will be crowned with Mouawad's "Force for Good" crown by reigning queen R'Bonney Gabriel.
