Kylie Verzosa wishes Nicole Borromeo good luck for Miss International

Kylie Verzosa penned a sweet good luck message for Nicole Borromeo, who is set to represent the Philippines on Thursday's Miss International pageant in Tokyo, Japan.

On Instagram, the Miss International 2016 said she has full confidence in Nicole.

"To Nicole, confident in you and wishing you the best," she said. "Bring it home again."

"Keep on evolving and enjoy the process along the way," she added.

In the same post, Kylie looked back on her pageant journey.

"Looking back at it now, it still makes me happy and I remember all the hard work I put in," she said.

"In an era where there were no glam teams and all, I remember I had to pick up everything: dresses, gowns, myself in a cab, just constantly reminding myself everything I go through will pay off in the future," she added.

According to Kylie, she remains grateful to Miss International even up to this day "for instilling in me the values that have led me to where I am today."

Kylie was the sixth Filipina to be crowned Miss International in 2016, and Nicole is vying for the Philippines' seventh crown.
