SB19, Mimiyuuuh: #MasMasarapMaiba
PEPSI ushers in a new era for SB19, Mimiyuuuh, and the next generation of Filipinos who are taking a bold stand to celebrate self-expression and authenticity.
It starts with a single pulse, that living, vibrant rhythm that beats inside you. It serves as an internal compass that guides you towards your most authentic self. And when like-minded individuals come together to enjoy who they really are, unafraid of being different, that pulse becomes a movement that ripples throughout the entire community.
This is the beat that brought people together at the highly anticipated Pepsi Pulse 2023, held at the MOA Concert Grounds last October 8. Hosted by Jaz Reyes and Mikee Reyes, Pepsi finally unveiled its brand-new look and rallied the crowd to live up to its #MasMasarapMaiba mantra.
Today, Pepsi is challenging every Filipino to break away from the ordinary and embrace diversity. Its new look takes inspiration from the past, but the familiar blue combined with the black line around the logo gives it a bolder and more contemporary feel, yet still undeniably Pepsi.
This is the Pepsi pulse, a visual reminder to enjoy life and not let anything hold you back.
Pepsi Pulse 2023 delivered a one-of-a-kind experience for all the guests as Filipino pop sensation SB19, composed of Pablo, Stell, Justin, Ken, and Josh, performed several songs from their ‘Pagtatag’ album. With record-breaking songs and electrifying performances, SB19 has proven that their music captures the essence of the Filipino spirit, and they're doing it with a flair that's uniquely theirs.
For the 'Gento' hitmakers, authenticity is something that they truly live by. “Kung ano lang yung gusto mong gawin, ipakita mo lang without overthinking kung anong iisipin ng iba,” emphasizes Justin. For them, it's all about doing what makes you happy, as long as you're not stepping on anyone's toes.
Pepsi Pulse 2023 also featured two more sensational performers. Mayonnaise, known for their electrifying rock anthems, and multi-genre singer-songwriter/producer Ace Banzuelo brought even more energy to an already exciting evening of music and activities.
YouTube vlogger and Pepsi ambassador Mimiyuuuh also dazzled the crowd with her infectious energy.
An advocate of self-love, Mimi finds an ally in Pepsi, a brand that she says welcomed her uniqueness since the start of her career. For her #MasMasarapMaiba is a way of life, and it's a message she passionately shares with her audience. Mimi says there's power in being yourself because, as she aptly puts it, "there's no one like you."
Pepsi Pulse 2023 is a testament to the vibrant, diverse, and undeniably Filipino spirit that's unafraid to be bold and different, an idea that specially resonates with the Gen Z.
Pepsi has more in store for its loyal fans and customers. "This is a new era of Pepsi. We’re starting off with SB19 and Mimiyuh now,” Nitin Bhandari, General Manager PepsiCo Philippines and Malaysia, reveals. “But you should expect to hear a lot more [from] us over the next few weeks!”
