Veteran broadcaster Ronnie Lledo passes away at 64


Veteran broadcaster Ronald Luis "Ronnie" Lledo has passed away on Saturday. He was 64 years old.

His family announced his passing through a statement.

"Ronnie as he is fondly called by his close friends and loved ones, lived a full life. He loved adventures and was always on the go in search of new and exciting ones," the announcement read.

"A gifted writer, a talented painter, an eloquent and accomplished public speaker, a respected broadcaster, a loving and caring son, uncle and grandparent... He will surely be missed!"

His wake will be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary at Edwin Andrews Air Base in Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City. Viewing hours are from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Lledo worked in both radio and television. A stringer for GMA Network in the 1980s, he last served as chief anchor for TV 11 Zamboanga.
