Gabbi Garcia's dad takes her to a Pride Ride with Klea Pineda, Katrice Kierulf

Gabbi Garcia and her dad are a proud allies of the LGBT+ community!

On Instagram Sunday, the "Unbreak My Heart" star shared how her dad convinced her to come with him on a "Pride Ride."

According to Gabbi, she joined the Pride Ride because of a conversation with her father asking her if she has a rainbow or a pride flag.

Gabbi then asked her father what it was for, and then her dad answered, "May' Pride Ride' tomorrow. Do you want to join, angkas kita? Let's show some support."

"[And] here we are! I love you[,] Dad! Thank you for stepping up and making a difference!" Gabbi wrote. "Joined the Pride Ride today! We are proud allies!"

On Gabbi's post, she and her father were also joined by Klea Pineda and her girlfriend, Katrice Kierulf.

Last Saturday, LGBT+ members and allies gathered at the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City (QC) for the PridePH Festival. Makati also mounted a Pride March on the same day dubbed "Tayo Ang Kulayaan."

Also on Saturday, the QC government announced the launching of the country's first "care card" that would authorize LGBTQ+ couples to make medical decisions for their partners.
