Shaira Diaz turns emotional as she wears toga and graduation cap in 'Unang Hirit'

Shaira Diaz got all teary when she wore a toga and graduation cap for an "Unang Hirit" segment.

The Morning Sunshine posted pictures and videos on Instagram of her also holding a sign that read "Finally grad-waiting!"

Shaira could not help but get emotional on- and off-air.

"[Ganito] pala ang feeling ng ga-graduate lalo na pag madaming pinagdaanan," she said in her caption.

In the videos, Shaira is seen crying but also laughing with the team during her "Grad pic awrahan."

"Pero hindi pa ako this year haha kaya natatawa sila bakit ako umiiyak," she said.

"[So] I'm manifesting…I'm #gradwaiting next year," the actress and host added.

According to a GMA Entertainment report, Shaira returned to school in 2019 while also juggling showbiz work.

She is taking up marketing and management at the University of Perpetual Help in Las Piñas City.
