Trailer for 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' shows new and old Spider-People

"What's up, danger?"

"Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," the upcoming sequel to the hit "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," just dropped a new trailer!

The trailer for the animated film shows which characters from the first movie are back, including main character Miles Morales as Spider-Man (Shameik Moore), Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld from "Hawkeye"), and Peter Parker (Jake Johnson of "New Girl").

Miles' parents, mom Rio Morales (Luna Lauren Velez) and dad Jefferson Davis (Brian Tyree Henry), also return. In the trailer, Miles can be seen addressing school problems with his parents.

The movie follows Miles as he runs into a team of Spider-People who are charged with protecting the very existence of the Multiverse. New cast additions include Oscar Isaac ("Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker") as Miguel O'Hara, another Spider-Man.

As seen in the trailer, the emotional stakes are high. Ultimately, the heroes disagree on how to handle a new threat, and Miles must redefine what it means to be a hero, and face a choice—does he save one person or everyone?

The movie is slated for a May 31 release in the Philippines.
