This Pampanga salon pays customers for getting haircut

In this Pampanga salon, customers are paid for getting a haircut.

According to Kuya Kim’s “24 Oras” report Thursday, this is because owner Nelly Vetters uses the hair to make extensions.

The longest hair she bought was 35 inches, which cost P6,500.

“Bumibili ako ng buhok na depende sa haba, sa kapal, atsaka sa quality,” she said. “Yung 15 inches na magandang quality, P800.”

Among those who had their hair cut at Nelly’s salon was Mischa Caracena, who did not touch her hair for years. She was paid P5,000.

Meanwhile, Pakistani squash player Zahab Kamal Khan holds the Guinness World Record for longest hair donated to charity. She gave five feet and an inch of her hair.—Franchesca Viernes/LDF, GMA Integrated News
