Herlene Budol confirms she will join Miss Grand International

Herlene Budol is returning to the pageant stage!

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Herlene confirmed that she will join Miss Grand International.

The beauty queen said she wants to express her gratitude to her manager, Wilbert Tolentino, by joining the competition as he wants for her.

"Tinupad niya 'yung mga pangarap ko na magkaroon ng bahay, sasakyan, mapagamot yung lolo ko, pati yung burol ng lola ko sinagot niya," she said about Wilbert.

"So 'yung kaligayahan naman po ni Sir Wilbert 'yung gagawin ko na which is kaligayahan ko din po ngayon na mapasaya ko naman siya."

Asked what she will bring to the pageant, Herlene said it's her confidence.

"Kapal po ng mukha. Kasi ayun po talaga yung number one puhunan ko sa buhay eh, Tito Boy. Wala po akong kahit anong talent, kapal lang po ng mukha. Bibihira po 'yun, 'yung talent na 'yun," she said.

Herlene was the 1st runner-up and bagged seven special awards in the Binibining Pilipinas pageant last year.

She later joined Miss Planet International, but she withdrew after experiencing uncertainties with the organizers and other difficulties in Uganda, the host country.

Herlene will star in the upcoming Kapuso series "Magandang Dilag."
