Dagul receives Noche Buena package, other gifts from GMA Integrated News, GMA Kapuso Foundation

Comedian Dagul and his family received gifts from GMA Integrated News and the GMA Kapuso Foundation this Christmas Eve.

In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Saturday, Dagul said they have been surviving as best as they could now that he no longer has showbiz projects.

The comedian have been out of work since the pandemic began, and earlier in the year, he opened up on his struggles to provide for his family and also with his health.

"Ano naman si misis, ang sabi niya sa akin, ganun talaga ang buhay, minsan maganda, saka sanay naman kami Kuya Lhar na hindi 'yung pamumuhay na mayaman talaga kasi galing din ako sa mahirap eh," Dagul said.

Dagul said his wish for 2023 is to return to show business so he can support his family, as he has two more children to put through school.

As life had been difficult, Dagul admitted that he could not prepare anything to celebrate Noche Buena with his family.

When Santiago presented him with a Noche Buena package and ready-to-eat food for his family, Dagul was surprised and was rendered speechless.

Santiago also handed him a GMA Affordabox, GMA Now, and vitamins from GMA Kapuso Foundation.

"Salamat, salamat, salamat, malaking bagay na po ito para sa amin, may handa na kami," Dagul said.

Merry Christmas, Dagul and family!
