Miss International unveils new crown inspired by cherry blossoms
Miss International has unveiled its new crown!
On Instagram, Saturday, the Miss International pageant shared a photo of the elegant piece from Vietnamese jewelry brand Long Beach Pearl.
"The Miss International crown is inspired by the beauty of cherry blossoms blooming in the spring sunlight," the brand said on Instagram, as translated from Vietnamese.
"Cherry blossom is the national flower of Japan, symbolizing the strength, spirit, culture and people of Japan. Not only that, the cherry blossoms are also a symbol of intense vitality, humility, desire for peace and positivity."
According to Long Beach Pearl, the crown consists of 333 pure white pearls symbolizing luck and longevity as well as 1,960 white gems symbolizing the first year the pageant was held.
The special highlight are the three selected pearls measuring up to 15 millimeters.
The 60th Miss International will be held on December 13 in Tokyo, Japan. Hannah Arnold will represent the Philippines in the pageant.
