Chelsea said that her advocacy is for youth empowerment, to encourage them to volunteer for humanitarian organizations and become leaders for environmental protection.

According to a GMA Entertainment report, the winner of the challenge was determined by online votes. Now, Chelsea has an added advantage in the pageant’s scoring.

The Tacloban representative also previously made it to the finals of Miss Globe’s talent competition, where she sang Rihanna’s “Diamonds.”

“It was a fun experience performing with an international crowd and sharing with the globe how talented Filipinos are,” she said on Instagram.

Miss Spain emerged as the winner.

The Miss Globe 2022 coronation will be on October 15, at the Opera & Ballet Theater in Tirana, Albania. The Philippines’ Maureen Montagne will crown her successor. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
