Khalil Ramos and Gabbi Garcia embody 'Old Hollywood' with photos taken by street box camera
Khalil Ramos and Gabbi Garcia went all out with the Old Hollywood theme at the GMA Gala Night not just with their elegant outfits, but with their portraits too.
The “Love You Stranger” stars and real-life couple were able to experience a photoshoot using a street box camera built by photographer Jovel Lorenzo.
Khalil first said that when they learned about the gala theme, it “was something [they both really connected with],” and that they felt a rush of creativity.
“I myself am an old soul. I love everything analog, from cameras to cars [and] music,” Khalil said on Instagram.
The Kapuso actor said that he “came across an article about a photographer that is reviving a [century-old] photography method through the use of a street box camera.”
“We knew that Sir Jovel Lorenzo (@boxcamera.ph) and his DIY box cam would be the best way to express our Old Hollywood-inspired looks for the Gala," he said. "Sir Jovel, we both want to thank you for the passion that you and your team shared with us last Saturday.”
In an Instagram real, Khalil showed the “extraordinary process behind the portraits” and how he and Gabbi were able to experience how these were taken a hundred years ago.
