Sharon Cuneta graces Jo Koy's 'Easter Sunday' movie premiere
Sharon Cuneta graced the red carpet premiere of Jo Koy's film “Easter Sunday” in Hollywood!
In a series of Instagram posts, the Megastar shared pics not just with Jo Koy, but also makeup artist Patrick Starrr, Filipina actress Princess Punzalan, Lou Diamond Phillips — whom Sharon said she’s “crushing on” — plus actors Rodney To, Melody Butiu, Eugene Cordero, Tia Carrere, Kelly Hu, and Lydia Gaston.
She also had pictures with the movie’s producer Dan Lin, writer Ken Cheng, and director and actor Jay Chandrasekhar.
Jo Koy first hinted about the film in 2020, revealing that Steven Spielberg's production company Amblin Partners and Dan Lin's Rideback made a deal with him after watching his Netflix special "Comin' In Hot."
Written by Ken Cheng and directed by Chandrasekhar, the film follows Jo Koy as Joe Valencia, a struggling actor, comedian, and single father who attends a reunion with his dysfunctional Filipino-American family on Easter Sunday. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
