Is Binibining Pilipinas 2022 Herlene Budol’s last pageant?

Herlene Nicole “Hipon Girl” Budol was a frontrunner throughout her run on Binibining Pilipinas 2022.

She finished 1st runner-up, her outfits, pasarela, and Q&A performance became trending topics, and she even received seven special awards on the coronation night.

However, beauty queen MJ Lastimosa said Herlene told her this might be her last pageant.

“Chinika ko si Budol, sabi ko, proud ako sayo ang galing mong sumagot! Sumali ka pa ulit. Sagot niya: last ko na ’to ate. Aww why naman langga. #nicolebudol” the Miss Universe Philippines 2014 titleholder said on Twitter.

Herlene is yet to announce that she is retiring from pageantry, but her loyal fans are hoping this will not be the last of her.

On the coronation night held at Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, Nicole Borromeo from Cebu was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International.

Other titleholders are Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental Gabrielle Basiano, Binibining Pilipinas Globe Chelsea Fernandez, and Binibining Pilipinas Grand International Roberta Tamondong. – RC, GMA News
