Herlene Budol says win or lose, joining Binibining Pilipinas is 'worth it': 'Sobra akong na-enlighten'

Crown or no crown, Herlene Budol has already won something during her Binibining Pilipinas journey.

The comedienne and aspiring beauty queen recently visited elders and children with disabilities, and she said the feeling is 'priceless' when she's doing good for others.

"Sobra po akong na enlighten sa pag sali sa prestihiyosong patimpalak ng @bbpilipinasofficial," she said. "'Yung alam ko may purpose ako at hindi lang batayan sa ganda. Bonus nalang kung palarin si Hipon Girl nyo kung maka sungkit ng isang Corona."

"Manalo man o matalo ako sa patimpalak. atleast masasabi ko sarili ko na worth etong pagsali ko sa pageant. Thank you Lord sa lahat ng blessings na tinatamasa ko ngayon," she added.

Herlene also penned a brief message to her grandmother, who passed away last month.

"To my Nanay Bireng in heaven, sana proud ka sa mga Achievement ko. Mahal na mahal kita at gagawin ko etong inspirasyon at gagalingan ko performance ko sa darating na Coronation [night]," she said.

The Binibining Pilipinas 2022 coronation night will take place on July 31.

Earlier this month, the pageant held its national costume show, in which Herlene donned a Higantes Festival-inspired ensemble. —JCB, GMA News
