Ben&Ben caps off Pride Month with ‘Paninindigan Kita’ MV featuring band members Pat Lasaten, Agnes Reoma

A month after Ben&Ben released the song "Paninindigan Kita," the nine-piece collective dropped its official music video on Thursday starring Ben&Ben members and real-life couple Pat Lasaten and Agnes Reoma to cap off the Pride month.

Recognizing the importance of celebrating queer love and engaging in the fight toward greater acceptance, Ben&Ben's "Paninindigan Kita" MV reflects the real-life experiences of Pat and Agnes as they live and love fearlessly, despite how the world perceives them.

"We're both excited and nervous because we're not very public about our relationship," Pat, Ben&Ben's keyboardist, said in a press statement. "We also aren't into PDA. In fact, our bandmates seldom see us hold hands."

Ben&Ben's bassist Agnes added, "expressing this story to a wider audience will be a fun challenge, as we aren't actors. Nonetheless, we're excited for the number of queer kids who'd see it."

"Paninindigan Kita" is an upbeat song by twins Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin. It was Ben&Ben's first song recorded in an actual studio since the pandemic started.

As of writing, the animated MV of "Paninindigan Kita" has garnered over 7 million views on YouTube. – RC, GMA News
