Netflix to stage real-life Squid Game competition; $4.56M awaits lone winner
Do you have what it takes to win a real-life Squid Game competition and take home a life-changing cash prize?
If yes, then you might just have a chance to be one of the 456 players that will be chosen to join Netflix's "Squid Game: The Challenge," a reality competition series hosted by the video streaming platform.
According to Netflix, players will compete through "a series of games inspired by the original show," with surprising new additions. The participants' strategies, alliances, and character will be tested while competitors are eliminated around them.
The reward amounts to $4.56 million.
If you wish to join the game, recruitment is now ongoing at SquidGameCasting.com. The only thing the Front Man requires for interested applicants is that they're fluent in English. If you tick that box, then you may send your application wherever you are in the world.
The announcement of the 10-episode competition series, which will be filmed in the UK sometime in 2023, came after Squid Game was officially renewed for Season 2. —JCB, GMA News
