Rabiya Mateo looks back on her Miss Universe journey

A year after she joined Miss Universe, Kapuso actress and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo looked back on her pageant journey in representing the Philippines on an international stage.

On Tuesday, Rabiya shared some highlights and never before seen photos and videos on Instagram during the 69th Miss Universe pageant held in Florida, USA.

“Rabiya Mateo, Philippines!” the beauty queen wrote with three Philippine flag emojis in the caption.

In the post, Rabiya fronted the one where she was wearing her Philippine flag-inspired national costume.

The next couple of photos were candid selfies that the beauty queen took during the competition.

“Forever grateful to all the people who rallied behind me. Love lots!” Rabiya added in her Instagram caption.

Rabiya also shared her iconic strut on the Miss Universe stage while wearing a yellow two-piece bikini during the swimsuit competition.

Rabiya concluded her Miss Universe journey in the Top 21.
