Miss International 2022 pageant to happen in Japan in December
It’s finally happening! The Miss International 2022 pageant will be held in Japan in December.
The pageant organization made the announcement Tuesday, sharing that candidates had been taking part in advocacies in their respective regions.
“Prior to the arrival of all the delegates, we will make sure that each one has been taking part in various activities that promote the United Nations; Sustainable Development Goals,” it said.
“Beauties for SDGs is Miss International’s humble way to utilize our national titleholders’ influence in spreading awareness, as well as actively taking part in SDGs initiatives in their own country or region.”
With the confirmation of the new schedule, the Philippines’ delegate Hannah Arnold said she was looking forward to representing the country.
“Thank you Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. for this blessing to continue my dream journey,” she shared on Instagram shortly after the announcement.
“We will surely use this extra time to spread more awareness about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals,” she added. “Tuloy ang laban, see you in Japan in December.”
