Landslide survivors among over 7,300 beneficiaries of GMA Kapuso Foundation aid for Agaton victims
A total of 7,356 residents affected by Tropical Depression Agaton in Leyte have received aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation.
According to “24 Oras” on Tuesday, among the beneficiaries was Anacleta Canuto, who almost died in a landslide when she got food and clothes at home before returning to the evacuation center.
Kahit masakit man na nawalan kami ng bahay (at) kabuhayan,” she added.
Another landslide survivor was Hermongenes Miego Jr., who was glad he was able to rescue some of his neighbors.
They and other residents from Baybay and Abuyog received grocery packs, mats, and blankets.
GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, Shopee, GCash, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
