Herlene Budol makes it to Binibining Pilipinas top 40: ‘Speechless ako at wala pa rin tigil sa kaka-iyak’

Herlene Nicole “Hipon Girl” Budol is over the moon as she makes it to the top 40 candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2022!

Shortly after the announcement on Friday, the Kapuso actress revealed that she was speechless when No. 67, her candidate number, was called on stage.

“Ohmygad nung tinawag ang #67 na speechless po ako at wala pa rin akong tigil sa kaka-iyak dito sa backstage,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you lord for hearing and answering my prayers!”

She then thanked her “Hiponatics, Ka-Squammy, Ka-Budol, Ka-Hipon, Ka-Inutz and Ka-Freshness” and asked them to continue supporting her. “Huwag nyo po ako iwan sa aking journey ah,” said Herlene.

Herlene revealed that her family wasn’t aware of her pageant journey. “Walang ka alam-alam ang buong pamilya ko sa aking pageant journey para sa Binibining Pilipinas. I love [you] po,” she said.

The Kapuso comedian earlier shared her final screening photos for Binibining Pilipinas 2022.

In her photos, she looked absolutely stunning with her hair down while she wore a “simple yet sexy” gray low-cut evening dress.

Winners of Binbining Pilipinas 2022 will go on to represent the Philippines at Miss International, Miss Globe, Miss Intercontinental, and Miss Grand International. – RC, GMA News
