Maxene Magalona shares her Holy Week experience in La Union

Maxene Magalona and her siblings have forgone their usual vacation trips for a more meaningful respite in La Union.

On Tuesday, actress and yoga enthusiast Maxene Magalona shared photos of her recent trip with her brother Frank and in-laws.

In the photos, Maxene and her company were seen meditating in a temple, walking on a long grass field, practicing yoga, and, of course, enjoying the pristine sight of the La Union beach.

Maxene said instead of the usual vacation activities like drinking and partying, they indulged in soulful activities such as nature walks, meditation, and practicing yoga.

“Thank you so much to [Frank] for planning our trip’s itinerary with activities such as taking a walk in nature in the Gallano rice terraces, visiting the Baluarte watch tower, checking out Navalta beach, driving to Saracat to visit a sunflower farm (with no sunflowers), practicing yoga at our [Airbnb] and meditating and praying at the Ma-Cho temple,” the actress wrote on Instagram.

“It felt really special and meaningful to be able to connect to the Divine through these sacred experiences,” she added.
