Andi Eigenmann, Philmar Alipayo to open surf school, snack bar in Siargao

Andi Eigenmann has revealed some of their family’s exciting plans in Siargao!

On the latest episode of their “Happy Islanders” vlog, Andi said her fiance Philmar Alipayo and a business partner would be reopening the Kanaway Surf School and shop in time for the Holy Week break.

“Finally he’s been dreaming of putting up a surf school and a surf shop and ngayon, nag-partner up na siya with Mang Carding of Kanaway Surf School, so they are going to reopen Kanaway together this time,” she said.

Those interested to take surfing lessons may inquire at the Kanaway Surf School Instagram page.

“It will be obviously such great help to the surf instructors here kasi ang source of livelihood ng karamihan dito ay tourism,” said Andi.

She also said she and a friend would be opening soon their Kanaway Snack Bar beside the surf shop.

Andi and her family temporarily moved to the city after their home in Siargao was damaged by Typhoon Odette in December.

They returned home the following month and Andi had been sharing again their new adventures on the island. – RC, GMA News
