'Hipon Girl' Herlene Budol officially applies for Binibining Pilipinas

It's official: Herlene Budol, popularly known as "Hipon Girl," is joining this year's aspiring Binibining Pilipinas candidates.

On Facebook, the comedienne shared a photo of her all dolled up, complete with brand new contact lenses, filling up a document.

"Sa mga nag pm at nag tetext sa akin. Opo, totoo po mag jojoin po ako ng Binibining Pilipinas sa kasalakuyan nag fill up ako ngayon ng Official Application form ng Binibining Pilipinas!" she said.

"Ipagpray nyo ako pumasa sa screening mga Hiponatics ko ah! Love u all," she added.

Herlene earlier announced her plans to audition for Binibining Pilipinas.

The pageant opened applications in February.

Some of the titles up for grabs in Binibining Pilipinas this 2022 include Bb. Pilipinas International, Bb. Pilipinas Globe, and Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental.

Herlene burst into the showbiz scene with her appearance in "Wowowin" as a contestant in 2019. She also later took part in the comedy show "Bubble Gang." —JCB, GMA News
