Machine Gun Kelly says Megan Fox's engagement ring has thorns: 'Love is pain'
Megan Fox's engagement ring is certainly unique.
Her fiance Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker, dished some more details about the ring, which he'd previously said he'd designed with jewelry designer Stephen Webster.
In his earlier Instagram announcement about their engagement, Baker revealed that the ring boasted their respective birth stones: an emerald and a diamond, "set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love."
And now in an interview with Vogue, he said the concept was "the ring can come apart to make two rings."
"When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts," he said.
"Love is pain!" he added.
Baker and Fox got engaged on Jan. 11, with the couple making it public via Instagram two days later.
"I said yes... and then we drank each other's blood," Fox said in her post.
The celebrity couple made their relationship Instagram official in July 2020. —JCB, GMA News
