Nadine Lustre expresses gratitude for the help Siargao Island is receiving after they have been affected by the Typhoon Odette.
In an Interview with GMA News reporter JP Soriano, Nadine said, "Guys, mahirap I know it’s very hard but I’m proud of everyone I’m proud of you all for helping each other."
Nadine said she can see that no one is being selfish in their community during this trying time, "everyone is doing whatever they can to help everyone."

According to a report on National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), Odette impacted a total of 3,567,588 people or 918,877 families in 5,674 barangays.
The affected regions include Mimaropa, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga, Northern Mindanao, Davao, Soccsksargen, Caraga, and Bangsamoro.
The typhoon left a trail of destroyed infrastructures, houses, and fallen trees in General Luna and Dapa on Siargao Island.
According to a tweet by GMA News’ Raffy Tima last December 24, displaced residents are asking for clean water, food, and shelter materials as they try to rebuild their homes.
Meanwhile, kids in Burgos town look out at the severely damaged seawall after huge waves swept several houses.
Odette exited the Philippine area of responsibility last Saturday afternoon, after leaving several areas in devastation. —JAB, GMA News.
